Hindustan Chamber of Commerce (HCC) celebrates its Chamber Day on Thursday, 23rd of January, 2025. On this occasion, the Champion of Humanity Awards are conferred to Organizations who have excelled in their respective fields with empathy towards humanity.
Mr Linesh Sanatkumar, the 79th President of the Chamber welcomed the gathering.

The Champion of Humanity Award for Contribution to the Society was presented to PUSHPAVATI BABULAL KAMDAR CHARITABLE TRUST started & run by Mr J.B. Kamdar, Founder and Ms. Marlene J Kamdar, Trustee. HCC takes pride in conferring Champion of Humanity for Contribution to the Society to PUSHPAVATI BABULAL KAMDAR CHARITABLE TRUST for the philanthropic Activities carried out by the Trust which impacts the society at large.
Shri Sanjiv Jain, has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest, presented the awards and addressed the gathering.
Mr N. Kumar, Chairman, Group Corporate Board, The Sanmar Group has kindly consented to be the Guest of Honor for HCC’s Chamber Day 2025 and joined with the Chief Guest while presenting the awards and addressed the gathering.
The awardees of this year have excelled in their respective fields and the Chamber selected them based on their consistent Performance, Job Creation, Technological Developments, Customer service, Achievements and their contribution for noble cause to the society.

The Kamdar family (Owners of NADI Airtechnics Pvt Ltd, Mr. J.B. Kamdar and Ms. Marlene Kamdar) as a Company have worked together to carry out numerous community service activities on an on-going basis under the name of PUSHPAVATHI BABULAL KAMDAR CHARITABLE TRUST.
The Trust has provided toilets and sanitation facilities to poor residents in the Pancheti Village to make it “open defecation free”, Provided toilets and water facilities for the benefit of devotees visiting the Gyairu Temple, Sholavaram, Provided funds to desilt the Temple Tank of Shri Anadavalli Samedha Agatheeswarar Temple, Pancheti, Provide benches, toilets and water for Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Arni. Together with Pushpavati Babula Kamdar Charitable Trust set up the Nadi Medical Centre later to become Nadi- SMF Medical Centre. This Medical Centre was set up at a cost of Rs 2 Crores and inaugurated by the Then Mayor Ma. Subramaniam in 2010. The Trust has been operating this Medical Centre since last 14 years, providing medical treatment, consultation and diagnostic facilities to the poor people in the Madhavaram community since 14 years. The Medical Centre is currently providing for Eye care, Dental Care, Ultrasound scan for women, Digital X-ray, Full–fledged laboratory, physiotherapy, Pharmacy which provides medicine at concessional rates. Also set up the Nadi RCM Tolia Dialysis Centre whereby more than 15000 dialysis have been carried out free of cost. The Trust further plans to build Medical Centre with an investment of Rs 26 Crores to provide modern diagnostic facilities, mini operation theatre, Digital Mammogram for screening of Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer.
